Fun Korean drama recommendation - Crash Course in Romance Review (K-drama on Netflix)

 Are you looking for a new K-drama on Netflix? Recently I've been watching "Crash Course in Romance" on Netflix, and I really want to recommend it to anyone who loves Korean Dramas. 



Starring

In this Drama, Jeon Do-yeon and Jung Kyung-ho star. Jeon Do-yeon is a trendy movie actress in Korea. Jung Kyung-ho is also a famous drama actor, and he's in a long-term relationship with Soo-Young, a member of Girl's Generation(a Korean idol). 


Synopsis

Choi Chi-Yeol(Jung Kyung-ho) is a top mathematics lecturer in the private education industry in Korea. Nam Haeng-sun(Jun Do-yeon) runs a pre-cooked meal business, and she is an aunt of Nam Haei. Haei's mom abandoned her when she was young, so her aunt Haeng-sun raised her as her mother. So Haei started calling her 'mother' instead of 'aunt.' 


Chi-Yeol is such a worker holic, so he has some diet issues and can't eat well. But once he found that food from Haeng-sun's market tasted so great to him. 


Haeng-sun wanted to support Haei's studies so she tried to get her into the top class of an institute where Chi-Yeal works. But she failed because other mothers interrupted her effort. After all, they hazed her since Haeng-sun was not a wealthy mother. 


After several incidents, they end up with a deal that Haeng-sun provides meals every day to Chi-Yeal, and Chi-Yeal delivers a private lecture for Haei. This is how they start their fun love story in the drama. 


Fun points 

You will see exciting educational culture in Korea. This is so fun to see because this drama reflects very well about mothers' intense enthusiasm towards their kids' education.

It is also funny how Chi-Yeal act when he finds out that he has a crush on Haeng-sun because he was such a worker holic and this kind of experience was so new for him and he just can't believe that he can fall for a woman, even a  mother of his student. But I believe soon he will find out that Haeng-sun is not the real mother of Haei so that they can develop their relationship deeper.
